A Bunch of the Boys were Whooping it up

How are we supposed to believe them when girls say, "No means no?"
When did they become so literal all of a sudden?
Why didn't no mean "no" when I asked, "Is anything wrong?"
And for that matter, why didn't yes mean "yes" when I asked, "Is it ok if I go out tonight?"
Or what about the grey areas, like "I don't care" when she really meant, "I don't care where we eat, but you had better know exactly where I want to go because there's only one place in this town that I like to eat and I always get the same thing there and God help you if you take me to that stupid place where they sing "Happy Birthday" but with a messed up tune every night that you know I hate...
